Common Applications

By common applications I mean programs (software) that the everyday user will be quite familiar with, but for some they still represent a challenge. For others, who might be familiar with the commonly used tools, there might still be some mileage in the less used features that I will also be covering. As with the other sections, I will focus on Windows XP, although a lot of information is applicable cross-platform (other operating systems like Vista, Windows 98 and the various brands of Linux).
